My better self, or the coaching journey that healed me internally so that I could help others...
If someone had told me a few years ago that I would one day become a certified coach helping others change their lives from within, I would have smiled politely—and secretly doubted it completely.
At the time, my life was focused primarily on fitness, yoga, and spiritual well-being. Sure, I understood the power of balance and self-care, but the idea of becoming a life coach? That seemed distant, foreign, even intimidating.
But that's the beauty of life: sometimes the path you're most skeptical about is exactly the one you need to take.
A skeptical leap of faith
When I first considered enrolling in the coaching program at iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching), I was apprehensive. It wasn't because I doubted the company or the field; rather, I doubted myself. Questions raced through my mind:
"Who am I to lead others?"
"Do I have enough life experience?"
"What if I invest in this and I'm not good enough?"
I felt comfortable in my role as a fitness and yoga instructor, where the transformations I supported were tangible—muscles toned, poses perfected, bodies strengthened. But deep down, I always felt that something was missing. I longed for a deeper harmony—a connection between mind, body, and spirit. My outer balance was strong, but my inner world craved healing, clarity, and a new direction.
And so, hesitantly but courageously, I embarked on this journey.
Empathy and intuition: My inner compass
For as long as I can remember, I have felt deeply connected to the emotional journeys of others. An innate sense of empathy has always drawn me to people who are seeking transformation, happiness, and freedom to express their creativity. This natural sensitivity has been enhanced and refined by years of dedicated yoga practice, which has quietly built a strong intuition within me—an inner voice that guides me to recognize unspoken needs, hidden potential, and deeper truths in the people around me.
Yoga taught me to trust this intuitive guidance, to listen beyond words and perceive what lies beneath the surface. When I transitioned from fitness and yoga teaching to coaching, it was this combination of heartfelt empathy and cultivated intuition that allowed me to connect with others on a deeper and more authentic level. It became my inner compass, clearly pointing me toward my goal: to help others find clarity, creativity, and happiness on their unique journeys of transformation.
Diving deep within
The first few weeks at iPEC opened up a whole new world for me. I quickly realized that this wasn't just professional training—it was deep personal growth. We didn't just learn how to ask the right questions or set goals; we dove into emotional depths, facing our fears, doubts, limiting beliefs, and even past traumas.
At first, I resisted. I felt uncomfortable and vulnerable. But as I immersed myself in techniques such as Core Energy Coaching™, powerful questioning, and Energy Leadership™, something shifted deeply within me. Slowly, layer by layer, my old fears peeled away. I discovered a new version of myself—a more compassionate, authentic, confident, and emotionally free version.
The most healing realization came when I realized that the best coaches are not those who have led perfect lives, but those who have embraced imperfection and vulnerability, who have first courageously faced themselves.
The community that always lifted me up
One of the most unexpected and deeply enriching aspects of my journey with iPEC Academy was the supportive community I discovered along the way. From the very beginning, I found myself surrounded by people who genuinely cared not only about their growth but also about the journey of others.
At first, I hesitated to open up, still skeptical and apprehensive. But gradually, the warmth, patience, and kindness of my peers encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone. Every lesson, coaching practice, or vulnerable moment we shared in our group was met with empathy, understanding, and encouragement. When self-doubt crept in, this incredible circle reminded me of my worth and potential, and reflected to me strengths I didn't even know I had.
Thanks to their constant support, patience, and unwavering belief, I found the courage to achieve what once seemed impossible. Their collective wisdom, sincere encouragement, and genuine compassion helped me realize the power of connection—they proved that we heal better when we heal together.
Thanks to them, my journey wasn't just about becoming a better coach, but also about belonging to a family united by growth, healing, and hope.
Becoming a better me—inside and out
This transformation was so deeply personal that it permeated every corner of my life. The healing I experienced through coaching changed my relationship with myself, my family, and my community. I learned to:
To truly listen—not just to words, but also to energy, emotions, and unspoken truths.
That vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness.
The power of transforming limiting beliefs into opportunities for growth.
How healing my inner wounds has allowed me to authentically support others in theirs.
My relationships have become richer, more honest, and more meaningful. My yoga and fitness classes have taken on a deeper meaning, filled with newly discovered empathy and mindfulness. Coaching has not replaced my physical practice, but it has enhanced it and completed the circle of true health—mental, emotional, and spiritual.
Leading others with authenticity and purpose
Today, as a certified iPEC coach, my mission goes far beyond fitness or yoga poses. I help others see their potential, let go of emotional baggage, and reconnect deeply with who they truly are. However, I don't do this because I have it all figured out. I coach because I have experienced firsthand the freedom that comes from inner healing and outer alignment.
Each session is a reminder of my own journey—a beautiful testament to what happens when you take a courageous step into the unknown.
Embracing the journey
Perhaps you are standing where I once stood—skeptical, curious, maybe even filled with fear about what lies ahead. Whether it's coaching, personal growth, or simply an effort to find your own balance, remember this:
Transformation is not about becoming someone else. It's about discovering who you've always been, patiently waiting beneath layers of doubt and fear.
In this process, I didn't lose myself, but rather found myself. And the greatest gift of all was the joy of sharing this healing with others and encouraging them to discover their own "new selves."
I encourage you, wherever you are on your journey, to trust in your own ability to heal, grow, and step into the beautiful, authentic life that awaits you.
Finally, I share my gratitude for the experience that changed my life...
As I reflect on this extraordinary journey, my heart is filled with deep gratitude for all those who have contributed to my transformation. I am truly grateful to iPEC for creating a program that is so powerful, compassionate, and transformative that it awakened something in me that I didn't even know existed. The techniques I learned here have not only made me a better coach, but they have also led me to become a better human being.
To my trainers and mentors, thank you for your patience, wisdom, and genuine care. Your belief in me when I couldn't believe in myself was invaluable; it gave me the courage I needed to step fully into my element.
To my incredible peers—the beautiful souls who walked this path alongside me—I am forever grateful. Your encouragement, vulnerability, and strength constantly reminded us that we are never truly alone. Together, we found healing, growth, and lasting friendships.
And finally, thank you to everyone who trusted me enough to share their journey with me. You remind me every day why I decided to take this leap of faith in the first place.
This experience has changed me forever, and as I move forward, I carry with me the joy, wisdom, and sincere gratitude that each of you has so generously shared.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for leading me home - to myself.
